Patient Testimonial
A heartfelt video featuring a grateful patient at a Southern California hospital, sharing their journey of exceptional cardiology care. Through emotional storytelling and warm visuals, the video highlights the hospital's dedication to life-changing patient experiences.

Physician Recruitment
A creative recruitment video for an emergency room doctor, produced within the constraints of a doctors’ locker room with limited time for filming. To maximize impact, we incorporated photos from the locker as B-roll, seamlessly blending them with dynamic edits. The video concluded with a text notification about an incoming hunting accident patient, highlighting the fast-paced, impactful work of an ER doctor.

Diversity Training
A powerful video used to kick off diversity training at a New England hospital, featuring direct-to-camera statements from staff. With heavy use of color tinting, the video creates a bold and emotional atmosphere, effectively setting the tone for the training and emphasizing the importance of inclusivity in healthcare.
Transforming Active Shooter Training: Thousands Trained, Time and Money Saved
Quick Overview
Management of Violent Person's Training (MVP) is an interactive video based training program for a large healthcare system in Pennsylvania. The training consisted of 2 parts. Part 1 is a 5 module E-learning course and part 2 is a live workshop where the employees use the concepts learned in part 1 in a live environment.
Change the Attitude
Almost everyday we see something on the news about a workplace shooting and we all seem to have the same response…"that can't happen to me".
This was the challenge. How do we change that attitude and thereby change their behavior? I think the trick is to realize behavior is influenced by attitude and not the other way around.
To deal with this mind set we decided it would be prudent to have a healthcare professional tell their story about a workplace incident. It was both emotional and effective. And really set the tone for the learning project.
Participation & Cooperation
This type of project tends to be very resource intensive. We had nearly 30 participants as well as local police and a SWAT team give their time and energy to make this training highly effective. The client really did a great job of organizing and communicating with all the participants. Detailed storyboards for both the video production and the E-learning components proved to be invaluable.
Time factor
From the beginning the client wanted a video based E-learning course with interactivity added if possible. Due to the nature of the content we decided that the interactivity should be as realistic as possible. With that goal mind, we added key points in the training that would give the viewers a choice with a timer attached (see image).
In some cases they had as little as 4 seconds to respond. If they made the wrong choice they would be presented with the possible consequence of not following the proper protocol and they would be able to replay the scenario and try again. (see image) If they chose correctly an onscreen SME would explain why that choice was correct.

Gamification
Throughout the modules we used knowledge checks to reinforce the learning. Each knowledge check would award 10 pts. or take 10 pts. away. We found it crucial to keep the score visible in order to give them that extra encouragement to do well and pay attention to the learning material.
We used Adobe Captivate's advanced actions to create custom knowledge checks that would show a correct answer (green check) or a incorrect answer (red x) as well as the pts. awarded
Interactions
In many instances the learner needed to complete a sequence of actions. We found that using drag & drop interactions as being invaluable for checking the learner's knowledge in this area.
Is it worth it?
In short, yes. At the kick-off meeting the client presented us with a very detailed and thought out content outline. Essentially the analysis was already completed. From that outline we basically reorganized it a bit and added the interactive elements. This type of "up-front" work by the client certainly saved quite a bit of money on the front end.
The part 1 training has been in place for a few months and the responses have been overwhelmingly positive. The client has was able to reduce overall seat time and get more employees trained in a given amount of time. In the end, saving them time and money.
